Michael Sommer, Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

This past summer, Michael Sommer battled the elements in an activity based fundraiser by participating in the Purcell Mountain Trek and Smokin' Rockies Mountain Tour to raise funds for Gillian's Place.  Michael's determination to raise funds began in 2019 where Michael raised funds through the Sahara Desert Trek! 

Michael raised over $11,000!

Barby Collins

This past December, talented local classic rock artist Barby Collins hosted a performance at The Green Apple Coffeehouse, asking those who attended to bring monetary or donations off of our wish list. With Barby's support, her organized event ensured Gillian's Place clients were supported through the holidays, and beyond. 

Barby raised over $150 and donated much needed items for our families during the holidays.

Two Sisters Vineyards

Our long standing supporters Two sisters Vineyards have raised funds for Gillian's Place annually through their Margo Rose Wine sales through a purchase donation.

In 2021, Angela and Melissa raised $8,000 to support our servcies.

Bench Brewing Company

Our committed supporters Bench Brewing Company brewed the Brave Noise Pale Ale in partnership with Beer Diversity to help raise awareness of equity-seeking groups that experience discrimination, harassment, racism, and sexual abuse both in the beer industry, and in our community. Proceeds from the Brave Noise Pale Ale were donated to Gillian's Place.
