Great Wolf Lodge
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Great Wolf Lodge for their howling team spirit and dedication to community through hosting their annual Charity Car Wash.
Gillian's Place was excited and grateful to receive $130,000 from this event. These proceeds will have an immediate impact at Gillian's Place, as we continue to change and save lives amid an intimate partner violence epidemic in Niagara.
We are truly appreciative or this tremendous support and for everyone who contributed including the staff of Great Wolf Lodge, the Niagara Falls Fire Department, the Niagara Regional Police Service, generous volunteers, and of course all of the community members who showed up to support.

On a Bluebirds Wing
In December, a talented group of musicians, artists, and like minded people came together with one goal in mind- to raise funds and awareness for survivors of gender-based violence in our community. And they absolutely blew us away. On a Bluebird's Wing raised over $10,000 for Gillian's Place.
On a Bluebird's Wing- a one-night benefit concert at the Bank Art House in Welland brought together the incredible talents of Julianna Riolino, Dorothy Paas, Spencer Burton, and Nicolette & the Nobodies. It was an amazing show that brought the house down, while raising vital funds to support the work of Gillian's Place.

The Merritton Lions Club
The Merritton Lions Club hosted trivia night featuring prizes, drinks and raffles in support of Gillian’s Place.
The event raised $5,000 to support survivors of violence and abuse.

Silversmith Brewing Co. and CAA Niagara
We’re so grateful to our long-standing partners, Silversmith Brewing Co. and CAA Niagara, for raising $1,000 in support of Gillian’s Place this past March!
In honour of International Women’s Day, Silversmith donated proceeds from their Solstice Double IPA, and teamed up with CAA, who sold limited-edition merchandise and collected donations throughout the month.

Latin Dance Niagara
A huge shoutout to Latin Dance Niagara for turning up the heat and making a difference! Their Queens of Carnival Dance Party raised an incredible $1,000 in support of survivors in our community.
These funds directly support individuals and families using the services at Gillian's Place, helping to provide safe shelter, crisis support, and essential resources for those escaping violence.
To everyone who danced, donated, and showed up in the spirit of empowerment- thank you for being part of the movement to end gender-based violence.

St. Catharines Road Runners Valentines 5km
A huge thank you goes to the St. Catharines Road Runners for once again hosting the Valentines 5km Run, in support of Gillian's Place.
We are thrilled to share that this year's run raised an incredible $4,000. These funds will directly support survivors of gender-based violence who rely on our services- including emergency shelter, counselling, safety planning, legal support, transitional programs, and more.

Grimsby Celebration Choir
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the Grimsby Celebration Choir for hosting "Celebrations Around the World" in support of Gillian's Place.
It was a wonderful evening of singing and festivities that raised $1,160 to help survivors to start to rebuild their lives.

Love Letters by John Sweeney

A heartfelt thank you to John Sweeney for hosting a special reading of Love Letters at Mah Tay Café in support of Gillian’s Place! Through this wonderful event, John raised $200 to help us continue providing life-saving support and services for survivors of gender-based violence.
