Why Take Action?
Unfortunately, we do not receive enough government funding to sustain the core areas of our urgent work. We turn to our community to help raise close to $1.5 million annually to ensure women and children have the protection, attention, and dignity that they need and deserve.

Raise Funds
Gillian’s Place is partially funded by the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, but relies on our community to help sustain our life-changing and lifesaving programs. Your support is part of a collective effort to raise well over $1 million every year to ensure survivors have the protection and attention they need and deserve.

Lasting Impact
You have a unique network of friends, family, and colleagues who may not be aware of the services that Gillian’s Place offers. You can help have a lasting impact by establishing long-term relationships between Gillian’s Place and new supporters, ensuring ongoing support for our cause.

Create Awareness
Your action helps spread awareness and education about the issue of gender-based violence and how Gillian’s Place supports survivors and those who care about them.

Sense of Community
Your initiative to take action will bring our caring community together to support some of our community’s most vulnerable. These efforts not only help the work of Gillian’s Place but also send a powerful message of support to those facing abuse in Niagara.

Personal Satisfaction
Taking action can provide you with a sense of fulfillment and personal satisfaction by bringing like-minded folks together and making a life-changing difference for those facing abuse.

We are here to help you, help survivors!
