- Gather your family, friends, coworkers, and employees and walk in the community, decked out in pink, to end gender-based violence in Niagara.
- Register your walk on a “virtual” map.
- Teams are encouraged to help spread awareness about gender-based violence and compete for the best pink-decorated house/business in October.

Thank you to Ironwood Cider House for hosting an amazing and successful Cocktails for a Cause fundraiser in support of GP!
The community gathered for a night of live music, cocktail competition, and a silent auction that raised $2,100 to support survivors in our community.
St. Catharines Roadrunner & Walkers
Every year, the St. Catharines Roadrunner & Walkers hold an annual Valentines Day 5k in support of Gillian’s Place!
This year for the 41st annual race, over $4,000 was raised to help empower the women, sexually and gender diverse individuals, and children on their journey to be free from violence and abuse!
We are so thankful for your long-standing support of GP to ensure we are here 24/7, 365 days for our community.

Mary-Anne and Nicole of Hilton provided our residents with some much-needed self-care items from SEPHORA! Sephora held a conference at the Hilton and asked to donate some products to Gillian’s Place.

Mary Ward Catholic School
Mary Ward Catholic School participated in their 3rd annual Lenten Step Challenge winning their second consecutive challenge with a team average of over 17,000 steps per day!

Faboo Art Show
Artist Michael Halliwell of Faboo Art held an exhibition of his artwork with proceeds going to support community organizations including Gillian’s Place!
Mick raised over $1,700 that will help change the lives of survivors seeking safety and support through Gillian’s Place.

Alistair "Kid's Can Cook!" Cookbook Donation
We want to congratulate grade 8 student Alistair for writing his own cookbook “Kids Can Cook! Healthy simple recipes for anyone to make” for moms and children trying to eat nutritious meals while also staying on budget.
Alistair generously donated two copies of his cookbook to Gillian’s Place to share his passion for cooking and give back to the community. Way to go Alistair!

Thank you to The Beamsville Women's Institute who collected adorable stuffed animals for the children and youth who seek safety and support with their family at GP.
Not only did they provide furry friends, but collected $200 in donations from their members to help our priority programs. We are so thankful!
Ontario Trillium Foundation
Gillian's Place is grateful to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their longstanding support of our work to end gender-based violence in Niagara. Recently, Gillian's Place was awarded a grant to upgrade to a Fibre Internet Connection.
"Since installing our fibre optic connection almost a year ago, we have had zero internet outages. This has ensured that our servers and crisis line are always working, and that residents can reliably access the internet for employment and housing searches, online learning, and connecting with supports.
