Walk a Mile in HER Shoes - Saturday, October 18th, 2025
Walk a Mile in HER Shoes is an opportunity for men and male-identifying allies to put in the work to end violence against women.
We are abundantly grateful to our corporate sponsors, walkers, ambassadors, and donors, who over the past 19 years have helped raise over $1,590,000 for Gillian’s Place. Beyond raising vital funds for Gillian’s Place, the men’s march has helped spread awareness about violence against women in Niagara, and beyond.
Wrapped in Courage Pancake Breakfast- Tuesday, November 4th 2025
November marks both Woman Abuse Prevention Month and Ontario’s Wrapped in Courage Campaign by the Ontario Association of Interval and Transitional Houses (OAITH).

Break The Silence Auction - Tuesday, November 3rd - Friday, November 13th 2025
November marks Woman Abuse Prevention Month. During this time, Gillian’s Place plans to launch a new fundraiser, Break the Silence auction. Funds raised will help support under-funded, yet urgently needed programs that empower women to break the cycle of violence and abuse.
